Off-site vs On-site Shredding

There are multiple options for secure paper shredding, meaning that it can take place off-site and on-site. When all documents are collected from a business and transported to a secure facility to be shredded, this is called off-site shredding. On-site (or mobile) shredding involves a truck driving to a business and uses an industrial-sized shredder to shred their documents whilst remaining at the facility. Staff members are also able to watch the shredding process during on-site shredding.

Document Shredding Specialists

Document shredding specialists offer a unique and effective service to business customers in the UK looking to safely and securely dispose of documentary waste. Whilst many office processes have ‘gone digital’ most businesses still generate an enormous amount of paper, some of which can be confidential, and disposing of this correctly is very important, both for the company’s own interests and for its clients and customers. There are often charges incorporated into the fees for transporting paper documents to disposal sites, which is why mobile document shredding specialists offer the ideal, cost effective solution to getting rid of essential documents the easy way.
